PAY RATE: $53.00-63.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Uses CREO to develop plans, drawings, models, and revise and initiate formats for parts, assemblies, and installation engineering.

• Creates new parts, drawings, BOMs, assemblies, simplified reps, and shrinkwraps.

• Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices (ASME Y14.5).

• Prepares complete production detail drawings.

• Completes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

• Provides component or portions of system designs for handling, lifting, test, assembly, and transportation of mechanical and electrical components.

• Supports cross-discipline product development with design knowledge.

• Applies professional experience using 3D CAD system (CREO, NX, SolidWorks, etc.).

• Applies knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Supports team members with engineering documentation, drawing and CAD maintenance, and verification.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Professional experience using a 3D CAD system (CREO, NX, SolidWorks, etc.).

• Experience with machine tool design or tool modification.

• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience creating new parts, drawings, BOMs, and assemblies in CAD.

• Experience completing layout drawings per ASME Y14.5 standard.

• Experience preparing complete production detail drawings.

• Experience making design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing.

• Experience supporting cross-discipline product development with design knowledge.
