Refinery Operator / Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Operate refining and fabrication equipment: electrolytic cells, chemical refining systems, rolling mills, annealing ovens, continuous casters, and gas/electric furnaces.
- Pour molten metal into molds or shot boxes (up to 100 lbs.).
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance on refinery equipment.
- Move 55?gallon chemical drums (up to 1,000 lbs.) using a barrel jack.
- Follow exact refining, fabrication, and laboratory procedures.
- Cross?train in refining operations, laboratory testing (X?ray, ICP, AA, Fire Assay), and wastewater treatment.
- Wear required PPE including respirators; participate in Hazmat clean?up as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aptitude.
- Interest in learning technical refinery and laboratory processes.
- Ability to follow precise safety and operating procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work around chemicals and hot metals.
- Excellent attendance and safety record; must pass annual physical.
- Team?oriented and able to work independently when needed.
Preferred
- Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, chemical processing, or laboratory testing.
Schedule
- Onsite Monday - Friday (5:50am - 2:20pm)
