Hourly Rate $20.00

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Drives residents and staff to school (1291) building and outings.

2. Responsible for delivery of snacks and lunch to 1291 with dietary aide.

3. Makes minor repairs as needed.

4. Performs janitorial work if needed.

5. Assists maintenance with transportation and snow removal during snow storms.

6. Liaison between staff in buildings 1 Cross Rd. and 1154.

7. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety for residents and staff on a daily basis.

8. Attends all required training by the facility.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Ability to operate lift on vehicles used to transport residents.
Must be able to physically stand, bend and lift up to fifty pounds.
Knowledge of and skill in maintenance functions such as painting, minor repairs.
Must have good communication skills.
As with all positions this position must obtain fingerprint clearance from NYS OPWDD, Child Abuse and Maltreatment Screening clearance from NYS OCFS and pass a drug screening prior to assignment.
