Audit ManagerA prestigious mid-sized CPA firm in the Chicago Metro area is seeking to hire an Audit Manager to join their esteemed team. Known for its exceptional work culture, outstanding work/life balance, and opportunities for professional growth, this firm offers a dynamic environment for career advancement within the next few years!Position: Audit ManagerLocation: Chicago Metro AreaCompany: Mid-Sized Prestigious CPA FirmKey Responsibilities:Oversee and manage audit engagements.Provide guidance and mentorship to audit staff.Develop and maintain client relationships.Participate in business development and practice growth initiatives.Requirements:5+ years of auditing experience in a public accounting firm.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.CPA license preferred.Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB auditing standards.Experience with Not-for-Profit (NFP) and Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) is advantageous.Willingness to travel minimally (mostly local)Benefits:Competitive Pay: Based on experience.Annual Bonus: Performance-based.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, life, and dental insurance.401(k) Match: Employer contribution 3%.Generous PTO & VTO: Paid time off and Volunteer Time Off.Flexible Schedule: Onsite and/or hybrid work options.Work Culture: Vibrant and approachable partners.Additional Perks: Full week off in the last week of the year, half-days on Fridays in June and July, beautiful office space with free parking.
