Production Supervisor

A growing manufacturing organization in the Frederick, MD area is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Oversee daily production activities and ensure schedules are met efficiently. Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture on the production floor. Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed. Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support production objectives. Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with staffing, training, performance management, and employee development activities. Qualifications 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proven ability to motivate, engage, and develop production teams. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing production schedules and meeting operational targets. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization methodologies is preferred. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
