Director of Development

As a remote full-time Director of Development, the successful candidate will manage the Walk to Defeat ALS events and other revenue-generating opportunities across multiple states, focusing on building relationships with constituents to enhance fundraising efforts and support the organization's mission. Key responsibilities: Manage a team of fundraising staff across Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana, overseeing event planning and execution Develop and implement engagement and fundraising strategies to maximize revenue from events Analyze fundraising data to forecast revenue and identify opportunities for growth and improvement Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required 3-5 years of nonprofit development experience, with 1-2 years in a management role preferred Proven experience in special event fundraising, particularly with Walks and Galas Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on corporate partnerships and sponsorships Proficient in MS Office, database management, and web-based software programs
