Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem

LPN/LVN Post Acute CareLocation: Abilene, KAShifts: Days, Evenings and Nights (8-hour flexible schedules-per diem shifts)Pay: NegotiableKey ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient CareMonitor vitals: Check temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels.Give medicine: Administer pills, IV drips, and other treatments safely.Manage wounds: Clean injuries, change bandages, and track healing.Assessment and PlanningTrack symptoms: Observe changes in health and report issues immediately.Create care plans: Build or update steps for patient recovery with the medical team.Run tests: Collect blood or fluid samples and help review results.Communication and EducationTalk with doctors: Share updates and discuss changes in a patient's health.Teach families: Explain how to care for an illness or injury at home.Support patients: Offer comfort and answer questions during stressful times.QualificationsActive Kansas LPN or compact license in good standingMin 1 year Med Surg, LTC or post acute care experienceCurrent BLS/CPR certificationExperience with adults and geriatric patients.Must pass a background check and drug screen
