•Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday; 8am-5pm
•On-Call Shift Schedule: Weeknight and Weekend Call
•Call Type: Inpatient Call
•C0overage Needed: 2 weeks/ month ongoing

•Patient Demographics: Adult Gastroenterology Patients
•Patient Volume/Census: Average 8 Procedures

- 7 Consultations Daily
•Admissions: Yes
•Rounding: Included
•Phone Consults: Yes
•Case Mix: Inpatient and Outpatient Gastroenterology (Advanced GI Preferred)

FACILITY INFORMATION
•EMR System: Epic
•Office Equipment Available: Endoscopy Suite
•Specialty Backup Available: Hospital-Based Specialists
•Support Staff Available: 2 GI APRNs

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
•Diagnostic Endoscopy
•Therapeutic Endoscopy
•Inpatient Gastroenterology Consults

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Active Kansas Medical License
•Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology
•Active DEA Required
•ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS
•Experience: Advanced GI Experience Preferred
•Other Qualifications: Case Logs, CME Certificates, References, Driver's License, Photo, Physical Required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology coverage
•Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
•Manage inpatient consultations and follow-up care
•Participate in shared weekday and weekend call
•Document patient care in Epic
