Director - Building Services

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Director - Building Services to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Adelaide.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the growth, performance and strategic direction of the building services team, while continuing to build strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Building Services team across a range of major projects.

• Drive business development and identify new opportunities across the South Australian market.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers and industry partners.

• Provide strategic and technical leadership across building services projects.

• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, commercial performance and client expectations are achieved.

• Support the development of the team's technical capability and future leaders.

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated multidisciplinary solutions.

• Contribute to the broader strategic direction and growth of the Adelaide office.

• Represent the business at industry events and within the wider engineering and construction community.

About You

You will be an established building services professional with significant experience in a senior leadership, technical or project management capacity.

You will have:

• A relevant engineering or building services qualification.

• Extensive experience within a consulting engineering environment.

• Strong technical knowledge across one or more building services disciplines.

• Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex projects.

• A strong understanding of the Adelaide construction and property market.

• Demonstrated business development and client relationship skills.

• Strong commercial and financial understanding.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The ability to identify opportunities, build relationships and grow a high-performing team.
