CNC Lathe Operator

CNC Lathe Operator Job Details:
Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm or 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm
Pay Rate: $21p/hour - $27 p/hour depending on experience

Machinist on 2nd shift available from $27 - $35 based on experience.

CNC Lathe Operator Job Description:

• Operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components according to specifications.
• Perform routine machine checks and monitor production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
• Read and interpret work instructions, shop orders, and production documentation.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues and quality concerns.
• Assist with machine setup and changeovers as needed.

CNC Lathe Operator Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and implement corrections.
• Basic math skills.
