Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Lancaster, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and manage patients at a ratio of 1:6–1:7, ensuring timely assessment and intervention
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias as identified through telemetry monitoring
• Float to like units with like patients as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete all required facility onboarding modules prior to start date
• Attend required staff meetings as scheduled throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Must be available to complete all assigned onboarding modules by the Thursday before the start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and associated patient populations
