As a Security Guard Full Time Roving Exterior Patrol in Wentworth, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and respond to situations with integrity. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with established procedures; report access concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or supervisors as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
