Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily operations and collaborating on both clinical and financial performance goals. Support staff retention and recruitment efforts, and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment. Promote shared governance by involving staff in decision-making and workflow improvement. Encourage evidence-based nursing practice and professional development amongst nurses. Monitor compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Help manage human and material resources effectively to optimize care delivery. Foster interdisciplinary teamwork by establishing clear communication with physicians, leadership, and staff. Advocate for nursing staff, resolve conflicts, and cultivate a healthy work culture. Assist with data-driven performance improvement and patient outcomes initiatives. Qualifications Required: Active RN license (Georgia or compact) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience, including leadership or preceptor roles Indeed BLS certification (and/or BLS Instructor if applicable) Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration Previous experience in a hospital setting Demonstrated competencies in leadership, communication, and quality improvement methodologies Why Join Wellstar?
