Adjuncts - HVAC/R

Summary: Credit part‑time adjunct faculty teaching positions available in HVAC/R. We are looking for motivated and knowledgeable individuals to instruct and facilitate HVAC/R learning in a classroom and lab environment. Additional opportunities may be considered for onsite training in industry. Responsibilities Plan course instruction based on the approved syllabus and outline provided. Collaborate with the program manager on curriculum development and lab improvements. Supervise independent and group projects, lab activities, or other training. Observe and evaluate student work to determine progress, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvement. Prepare content for classroom and labs for activities as required. Stay current on industry developments and relay these changes to students as applicable. Qualifications Technical Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred; industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of five (5) years in the HVAC/R industry. EPA Section 608 Technician Certification – Types I & II (Universal preferred). RSES or NATE industry certifications are preferred. No previous teaching experience required, but the candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Moderate computer and technology skills to facilitate administrative and instructional requirements. Applicants will be placed in a pool for future consideration if there is no current opening.
