Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room (ER) department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their clinical skills and expertise to support patients and their families during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' health status and needs.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• A minimum of 12 months of experience working in a permanent ER setting.
• Current certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This position requires availability for mid-shift work, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week.

One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for is required to qualify for submission.
