Inventory Coordinator
Dallas, TX
We are currently hiring an Inventory Coordinator in the Dallas, TX area. We have several opportunities available due to our growing needs! Inventory Coordinator Pay Rate:
- starting pay is $26.00
Inventory Coordinator Shift :
- 1st shift
- 10:00am-6:30pm
Inventory Coordinator Job Description:
- Run inventory reports using the appropriate inventory query from WMS program and transfer data to Count Sheet template and shared network.
- Print Count Sheets in location sequence.
- Conduct physical inventory count and enter quantity onto Count Sheet or designed WMS.
- Record and enter count results into system files.
- Research inventory discrepancies by cycle counting discrepant items.
- Run transaction history to identify the last locations that product was stored.
- Conduct search of "Staging" areas.
- Perform "Empty" location audits.
- Record and report the results of the count and audits.
- Report findings to department supervisor or designated representative.
- Assist in other areas such as operations, shipping and receiving as needed.
Inventory Coordinator Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
- Have at least 3 Years of Warehouse experience
- Have a strong background in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to safely drive and operate the forklift.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- PC literate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Accurate typing skills and/or data entry.
- Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs.
- Effectively present information one-on-one or in small group situations.
- Ability to solve inventory discrepancies and create/recommend ways to improve the inventory process.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities.
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.
- Consistently at work and on time.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
