Little People's Academy Daycare Center LLC in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a passionate and nurturing Level 1 Certified Assistant Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children while working in a warm, supportive environment. - Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities
- Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily progress and child well-being
- Follow all childcare regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
- Assist with snack time, nap time, and daily routines
- Level 1 Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification required
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check and meet NYC/NYS childcare compliance requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
