About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card Must-Have: Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Labor and Delivery specialty. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. There are no specific weekend requirements. The nurse must possess the required certifications. The nurse will be expected to float between like units. The facility has a patient ratio of 1:2. Candidates must submit their RTO at the time of application. All travelers are expected to float within the state. Candidates need to have experience in a facility with a minimum of 200 deliveries per month. References are required covering one year of experience within the last three years. Candidates must disclose any license or background issues upfront. All travelers are required to commit to work three of the five major holidays. Communication devices will be provided if required for the assignment. Modules of training may be required, which are non-billable and self-reported. Completion of modules will be recorded.
