Amazon's Devices & Services Trust CX Innovations team builds responsible AI for consumer devices. Our team owns ambient trust: as devices gain the ability to see, hear, and understand the world around them, we make sure they respect customer trust boundaries — whether or not an AI agent is acting on that data. We build the perception experiences and safeguards that let customers confidently bring AI-powered devices into their homes, across Alexa+, Echo, and ambient computing products.Build the systems and consumer-facing features that make camera- and sensor-based AI experiences trustworthy at scale. Partner with our Product Manager–Technical to design privacy-preserving perception architectures, responsible-AI safeguards, and the evaluation systems that prove they work. We work daily with principal engineers, applied scientists, responsible-AI policy experts, and red teamers to ship experiences that survive the highest bar of scrutiny at Amazon before reaching millions of homes.This is a team where an SDE-II gets genuine ownership: the problems are new (there is no playbook for trustworthy ambient AI), decisions are made by the people closest to the work, and what you build ships to real customers rather than staying in research. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
