Who we are looking for Re:Build is hiring a Tax Manager to oversee US Federal, state, local, and international tax compliance across Re:Build Manufacturing, LLC and its subsidiaries. While we continue to use an external accounting firm for tax preparation and specialized advisory, this internal resource will provide strategic oversight, ensure compliance consistency, and deliver significant cost savings through consultant and risk mitigation. An internal Tax Manager will develop a deep understanding of our business operations, revenue models, and product classifications. This individual will build relationships with site controllers and the operations teams to embed compliance into workflows, maintaining continuous oversight rather than periodic snapshots. The position will identify tax‑saving opportunities proactively, including incentives, exemptions, and credits specific to manufacturing, while providing real‑time guidance during business decisions rather than retrospective analysis. The Accounting Manager will serve as the day‑to‑day financial steward of multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with applicable accounting standards across jurisdictions. Systematize sales & use tax compliance across all entities, including nexus studies and exemption certificate management. Provide internal tax due diligence for M&A targets. Maintain defensible documentation and policies for transfer pricing to support international business and minimize exposure. Manage state and local obligations such as franchise, excise, and property taxes. Act as the primary gatekeeper for external accounting firms, ensuring outside resources are used only for specialized advisory. Expand into increasingly complex fund‑adjacent tax matters. What you bring to the Team Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. At least 4 years of relevant experience. CPA, member of the bar, or other tax, technology, or finance credentials may qualify. Location: Framingham, MA – Hybrid schedule: 3 days in‑office, 2 days remote. Compensation : Anticipated base salary range $104,000 – $145,000, adjusted for experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive compensation (LTIP) plus a competitive benefits package.
