Registered Dietitian Position RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of exceptional clinicians. You will have the ongoing support of our dedicated team, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care

Overview: This exciting opportunity for a Registered Dietitian offers a flexible and rewarding work-life balance.


Schedule: 6-10 hours per week

Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility

Compensation: $30.00-37.00 per hour, based on experience.


Travel Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conductcomprehensive nutritional assessments.
• Develop,implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Providenutrition education and counseling.
• Collaborateeffectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of theinterdisciplinary care team.
• Ensurecompliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, includingthose related to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)and the Department of Health (DOH).
• Maintainappropriate documentation.
• Monitorall residents for changes in weight weekly and/or monthly to identifypotential changes in nutrition or hydration status.
• Participatein quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services andresident outcomes.
• Performother tasks as assigned and within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Experience& Qualifications:
• Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from anaccredited program.
• Registeredby the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Currentstate licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
• Minimumof 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellentcommunication skills for effective interaction with patients, families,and healthcare teams.
• Possessesthe ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assessobjectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans forimprovement.
• Proficiencyin providing general nutrition interventions.
• Familiaritywith state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
• Competencyin electronic charting systems
