Role Overview The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation care to patients based on physician referrals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. Responsibilities Establish, assess, and modify patient goals Develop and follow treatment plans Chart patient progress Utilize therapy software Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members Oversee SLP Clinical Fellows when applicable Participate in community health projects Ensure patient safety and confidentiality Maintain professional relationships Qualifications & Skills Must have a graduate degree in speech therapy (MS or MA) ASHA certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year Active state licensure CPR certification Preferred candidates have at least one year of experience, but new graduates are welcome Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good judgment are essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrate professionalism, and adhere to policies is required Key Duties Conduct assessments Implement treatment plans Evaluate and supervise CFYs Document progress accurately Demonstrate excellent customer service The role requires physical activity, dependable attendance, and effective communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
