Branch Operations Manager Promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of bank products. Contribute to growth by effectively selling bank services to new and existing customers, emphasizing courteous and professional service. Overview Responsible for the management of all operational functions and ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Minimize risk, liability, and loss, while maintaining branch efficiency and meeting management expectations. Manage and develop branch staff, oversee daily operations, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities Manage operational functions and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations. Implement controls to minimize risk, liability, and loss. Monitor branch efficiencies to meet management expectations. Hire, train, coach, schedule, supervise, evaluate, and conduct terminations of branch staff. Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Motivate employees to make sales, cross‑sales, and referrals; document all activity in CRM. Perform teller and new account functions in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of branch accounts, products, and services offered. Manage branch cash levels; perform cash counts and audits; order cash to/from the Fed. Educate customers on identity fraud, phishing scams, and safe banking practices. Complete all CTRs for the branch daily and ensure timely submission. Balance vault and manage vault‑to‑teller transactions. Order branch supplies and maintain the professional appearance of the branch; report maintenance, landscaping, or housekeeping needs to the Facilities Manager. Promote a positive image of PointBank in the community. Attend all required meetings and complete all regulatory and compliance training. Participate in BSA/AML/OFAC compliance training and identify suspicious activity. Suggest improvements to branch and departmental operations and the overall bank. Perform other duties and assignments at management’s request, including cross‑training and occasional work at other branches. Equipment, Physical & Mental Demands, and Working Conditions Equipment: Telephones, Copier/Fax Machine, Computer, Coin Machine, Cash Dispensing Machine, Bill Counter, Teller Drawer/Tower, Drive‑thru Tubes/Commercial Lane Drawer (all frequent), ATMs/ITMs (occasionally). Physical Demands: Light to Medium work; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; 10 lbs frequently; stooping/crouching occasionally; standing/walking frequently; sitting rarely; pushing/pulling/lifting occasionally; fingering/grasping frequently; repetitive motions frequently; talking/hearing, reading/writing, close visual acuity, interpreting data, problem solving, making decisions, organizing – all frequent. Working Conditions: Indoor environment with protection from weather; occasional outdoor conditions and travel when working with ATMs/ITMs or attending required meetings and training.
