Job Description

Exciting Opportunity for Cath Lab Techs!

• Shift: 10H Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float
• Unit Notes:



• First-time travelers welcome!
• Cath Lab Tech team consists of:



• 2 Techs (1 for scrubbing & 1 for monitoring hemodynamics)
• RN for conscious sedation
• Possibility of a 4th person (either RN or tech depending on the case)
• Lead Tech responsible for room assignments
• Agency provides traveler with rad badge


• Required Certifications: ARRT, Fluoro, BLS
• Skills Needed:
• Must have current Cath Lab experience
• Comfortable with conscious & moderate sedation
• Proficient in procedural processes and airway management
• Experience with cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
• Familiar with balloon pumps
• Facilities: 5 Suites
• 2 Suites primarily for coronary cases
• 1 Suite for peripheral cases
• 1 Suite for vascular & neuro cases
• 1 Suite for EP cases
• Average Cases per Day: Varies from 10 to 22 cases
• Call Requirements:
• Rotate call for inpatient & emergent cases - 1 time per week
• Weekend call: 1 weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday AM)
• Subject to change based on unit needs
• Cancellation Policy:
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Hospital may pay full hours for a particular shift in lieu of cancellation


• Charting System: Cerner
• BSN Required: No
• License to Submit: Yes
• Trauma Level: Acute Care Setting
• Contract Length: 91 Weeks
