Events & Parent Volunteer Coordinator

The Events & Parent Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning school events including class trips, field trips, fundraising events, club activities, employee recognition, schoolwide family events, and, in some cases, 8th grade promotion. The Events & Parent Volunteer Coordinator is also responsible for interacting with and scheduling parents who volunteer on campus, or would like to donate needed items for events. The Coordinator will be identifying volunteer skills and resources, the needs of the school site for particular events, and acting as a liaison between parent volunteers and other school employees. This position will support and uphold the mission and vision of The Classical Academies. The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, Certified California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999. With over 4,500 students in grades TK-12, the schools are making a tremendous impact as they reinvent public education.
