cross-train as a Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech/Aide)

What You'll Do

Front Desk & Patient Coordination As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service

Manage patient check-in and check-out

Schedule appointments and help maintain full, efficient provider schedules

Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and patient eligibility

Collect copays, patient balances, and other payments accurately

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within our EMR system

Answer incoming calls, respond to patient questions, and assist with scheduling needs

Keep the front office organized, professional, and running smoothly

Work closely with therapists and other team members to ensure a positive patient experience

Physical Therapy Technician / Aide Support You'll also receive cross-training to assist our clinical team when additional support is needed. Assist Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants with non-clinical patient care activities under appropriate supervision

Help prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient appointments

Assist with setting up and cleaning therapy equipment

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

Support patient flow throughout the clinic

Provide additional assistance to the clinical team as needed, within the scope of the position and applicable supervision requirements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and enjoys working as part of a team. Ideal Qualifications: Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Front Desk Coordinator, Patient Service Representative, or similar role preferred

Healthcare or medical office experience is a plus

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Experience with EMR/EHR systems and scheduling software preferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Comfortable working directly with patients and assisting in a clinical environment

Willingness to cross-train and support both front desk and PT Tech/Aide responsibilities

Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Healthcare experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in helping patients. About FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers
