Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on adult and geriatric patient populations. The ideal candidate will have experience with MEDITECH and be prepared to handle a variety of diagnoses and treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med Surg units.
• Monitor patient health and manage medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop effective treatment plans.
• Handle telemonitoring and support emergency interventions as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med Surg.
• BLS and NIH certifications are required.
• Experience with MEDITECH is preferred.
• Must be able to float to tele and emergency departments as needed.
