Key Responsibilities:
- Set up press brake machines, including installing tools and dies, and calibrating equipment.
- Program the press brake machine for specific tasks, inputting measurements and specifications.
- Operate the press brake machine, monitoring the process and making adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the bending process.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy materials.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
