Dieterich Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to join our team in Teutopolis, Illinois. As a Personal Banker, you will be the face of the bank, helping customers achieve their financial goals while delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.

What You'll Do

As a Personal Banker, you will:

• Build strong customer relationships through outstanding customer service
• Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts
• Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
• Assist customers with online banking, mobile banking, and digital banking services
• Address account maintenance requests, including address changes and fraud-related inquiries
• Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and confidentially
• Support branch operations while contributing to a positive team environment
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• 1-3 years of customer-facing service experience, preferably in banking, retail, or financial services
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, online banking platforms, and mobile applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to work rotating Saturdays

Preferred:

• Associate degree in Business or a related field
• Previous banking, teller, or retail banking experience

Schedule

• Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
• Branch hours generally between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturday schedule (minimum two Saturdays per month) between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
• When staffing permits, employees working a scheduled Saturday may receive a weekday off

Pay: $17-$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
