Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling cables, wiring harnesses, and electronic components with strong attention to detail and quality.

This role involves building and inspecting cable assemblies, performing precision soldering, following detailed work instructions, and supporting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses, wire assemblies, and electronic components according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform hand soldering of wires, connectors, terminals, and electronic components.
• Strip, crimp, terminate, and route wires and cables.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on completed assemblies.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and measurement tools as needed.
• Identify and correct assembly issues while maintaining production standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established manufacturing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cable assembly, wire harness assembly, or electronic manufacturing.
• Hands-on soldering experience required.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision work.
• Experience working with small components and hand tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or high-reliability manufacturing.
• IPC soldering certification or similar training.
• Experience with point-to-point wiring and electrical assemblies.
• Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes.
