Occupational TherapistThe Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. OT is responsible for directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program. This includes the completion and/or directing/delegating the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment; and contributing to and/or directing/delegating the contribution to the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches that are individualized to match the skills, abilities, and interests/preferences of each resident.Responsibilities:Complete Occupational therapy assessments.Perform treatments, creates home based plans, monitoring of plans for implementation and effectiveness.Attend client centered meetings or provides information when needed.Performs skills based competency training for staffMust have good verbal and written communication skills, including participating in team meetings, training clients and staff, and quality electronic record documentation.Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating to Occupational Therapist Education, Licensure, and Practice in the State of Texas.Will abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and Facility.Minimum Qualifications:All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the FacilityMaintain current Occupational Therapist license with the State of Texas. Maintain CEUs for licensure.Must be in "good standing with Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.Preferred ExperienceSensory Integration assessment and treatment planningSchool based therapy and collaboration with teachersOutpatient Occupational therapy servicesOtherMust comply with HHSC immunization requirementsMust submit to HHSC required drug testMust submit to HHSC required fingerprintingMust comply with facility and HHSC required trainingSchedule 8 am to 5pm M-F with some flexibility to do assessmentsWhy Choose Action Staffing Solutions?
