Product Manager

OverviewThis position may be based in Coopersburg, PA or Conshohocken, PA. Lutron is expanding its product management organization and seeking high‑impact leaders who thrive in cross‑functional environments. This role offers broad visibility across the company and is ideal for individuals eager to shape product strategy, influence business outcomes, and guide teams through complex product decisions.As a Product Manager, you will sit at the center of Lutron’s product development engine, translating customer needs into actionable product roadmaps, partnering closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and executive leadership. You will become a subject‑matter expert on our customers, channel partners, and market ecosystem, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence high‑visibility initiatives while building deep product and business leadership experience.ResponsibilitiesGather and integrate customer insights to inform and refine product plansLead major product introductions from initial concept through full launchDefine pricing strategies and margin targets for new productsDevelop product positioning and go‑to‑market launch strategiesProvide regular updates on priorities, progress, and decisions to executive and cross‑functional leadershipBuild business cases and establish growth targets for new product investmentsMonitor product portfolio health and proactively manage lifecycle strategy, including end‑of‑life planningKey CapabilitiesDemonstrated ability to solve abstract, cross‑domain problemsProven track record driving cross‑functional initiatives within a matrixed organizationAbility to independently plan and conduct customer interviews and synthesize insightsExperience integrating multiple data sources to support data‑informed decision‑makingProven influencing skills with the ability to align priorities and navigate tradeoffs across teamsProactive mindset with a history of identifying improvement opportunities and advocating for changeQualificationsBachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical field (i.e., engineering, computer science, or related technical field).MBA preferred.If less than 10 years of work experience, minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA is requiredMinimum 8 years of professional experience in cross‑functional roles, leadership experience strongly preferredExperience in product development, product management, or product marketing requiredExperience in, construction, IoT, or lighting industries is beneficial but not requiredWillingness to travel up to 25%You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future.
