Shipping and receiving clerk

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk with extensive forklift operation experience to join our warehouse teams. In this role, you will handle both physical material movement (unloading/loading trucks using forklifts) and digital inventory management (WMS scanning and BOL verification). **Must have extensive forklift experience and computer skills** APPLY TODAY! for immediate consideration to our shipping and receiving clerk roles! salary: $19 - $23 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to unload trucks, containers, and flatbeds.
• Match incoming goods against POs, packing slips, and bills of lading.
• Check for freight damage, report issues, and log received stock into the WMS.
• Wrap pallets, band crates, label goods, and stage shipments.
• Load outgoing freight onto trailers, maintaining safe axle weight distribution.
• Coordinate with carriers and sign off on final shipping paperwork.
• Complete pre-shift OSHA safety inspections, fluid checks, and logbooks.
• Transport bulk items safely between staging, racking, and production zones.
• Swap propane tanks, recharge electric batteries, and flag maintenance issues.
• Move received items to assigned rack bins and update location records.
• Participate in physical audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Maintain clear dock pathways and follow OSHA safety standards.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
