About the Role:
Ziebart in Pleasant Grove, UT is looking for a skilled Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our team! This is your chance to turn your passion for automotive detailing and precision craftsmanship into a rewarding career with one of the most trusted names in vehicle protection.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and apply Paint Protection Film (PPF) to vehicles with precision and attention to detail
- Perform surface preparation including cleaning, decontamination, and paint correction prior to film installation
- Use plotting software and cutting tools to create custom PPF templates for various vehicle makes and models
- Inspect completed installations for bubbles, lifting edges, or imperfections and make necessary corrections
- Consult with customers to recommend appropriate PPF packages and coverage options
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for all tools and equipment
- Stay current on the latest PPF products, techniques, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Prior experience with PPF, vinyl wrap, or automotive detailing installation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Familiarity with DAP, Xpel, SunTek, or similar PPF products and cutting software is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong customer communication and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
