A stable, long-standing manufacturing organization is seeking a General Ledger Accounting Lead to step into a highly visible position supporting plant and corporate accounting operations. What You'll Be Doing

• Own key aspects of the month-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries
• Perform and oversee complex balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage fixed asset and capital project accounting
• Handle intercompany accounting activities
• Support sales & use tax and year-end tax reporting processes
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Monitor and enhance internal controls
• Coordinate capital expenditure tracking and approvals
• Partner with operations to support manufacturing accounting activities
• Participate in ongoing ERP modernization initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to standard cost accounting and manufacturing financial processes
• Experience improving processes rather than simply maintaining them
