We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team, focusing on agricultural and transportation products. The role involves working from blueprints to prep and hang parts for painting. Once familiar with the various parts and processes, you will have the opportunity to learn powder coating techniques. Initially, you will start by cleaning and prepping parts for painting.

Responsibilities

• Paint agricultural and transportation products.
• Work from blueprints to prep and hang parts for painting.
• Learn and execute powder coating processes.
• Begin with cleaning and prepping parts for paint.

• Experience in industrial painting, blasting, and paint booth operations.
• Proficiency in paint prep, sanding, and using a spray gun.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in paint or prep work.

• Willingness to train in powder coating processes.
• Ability to reach and interpret blueprints is highly beneficial.

Our company offers a family-oriented environment and is willing to accommodate modified schedules as long as work is completed efficiently. We maintain a sense of urgency without a frantic pace, ensuring a balanced work atmosphere.

Work Environment

You will be working in a relatively new and expanded paint booth and paint area, with potential for additional external projects. The team consists of about 40 people across two shifts. Training occurs during the day from 6:00am-4:30pm for 3-6 weeks, after which shifts may transition to nights from 12:30pm-11:00pm, with potential for extended hours from 4:30pm-3:00am during busy periods. Work is scheduled Monday through Thursday, with Friday reserved for overtime. A shift differential of $2/hr applies once training is complete.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST FARGO, ND.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in WEST FARGO,ND.
