About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full IND-enabling program and will play a key part in the company's evolution from preclinical to clinical stages, particularly in the execution of first-in-human trials. This is a unique opportunity to shape the clinical and regulatory strategy for a novel class of small molecule therapeutics, with a focus on high-unmet-need indications and no established competitive or regulatory precedent. Applicants for the Chief Medical Officer position at the company should have a strong background in clinical and regulatory affairs, with a proven track record in leading the transition of a biotechnology company into the clinical development phase. The role requires a visionary leader who can define and execute the clinical and regulatory strategy for a first-in-class mechanism of action.
