• Both Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide certifications are required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current CPR certification

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration

• Ability to speak and read English well enough to comprehend job duties and communicate effectively

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and report any concerns to the nurse

• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation

• Assist with resident care and daily living activities as needed

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

• Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents and families
