Teacher of Music The Newark Board of Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Music to develop and implement a comprehensive music program. The position is pending availability of funds and superintendent approval. Qualifications and Requirements Appropriate NJ Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) as mandated by the NJDOE. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred), unless specified otherwise by the NJ Department of Education. Basic Functions and Responsibilities Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. Evaluate student progress regularly and prepare progress reports.
