Job Overview The Clinician applies psychological/counseling principles in the following areas: assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, consultation, supervises non-licensed staff, and program development. The clinician is involved in integrating behavioral health services into a primary care setting. Responsibilities Diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning. Providing a variety of interventions such as individual, group, child, and family therapy. Implementing short‑term problem‑solving therapy, short‑term cognitive behavioral therapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, crisis intervention, coping skills, substance abuse treatment, behavior modification, case consultations, and other evidence‑based practice techniques. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team that includes medical providers, nursing staff, medical support staff, case managers, administrators, managers, and directors. Defining treatment goals and measures of success with the patient using evidence‑based outcome measures. Attending conferences/workshops regarding mental health treatment and participating in research studies or multidisciplinary projects. Minimum Requirements Professional licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the California Behavioral Science Board. Master’s level degree. Minimum 1 year of experience working with children and minimum one year of clinical experience for LCSW. A valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines. Bilingual English/Spanish or English and another predominant language of the population served (preferred). Compensation $85,795.84 - $109,733.00 annually (range may change).
