Staff - RN - Adult Surgical 700 - Nights

Unit Information: Unit 700 is a 34 bed surgical telemetry unit specializing in the care of post-operative patients of many surgical specialties including vascular, urological, and general abdominal surgeries. The unit provides both pre-operative and post-operative care. Patient education is focused on pain management, wound care, post hospital care, and patient focus to return to their optimal level of functioning. We have a competent and caring staff that consists of registered nurses, patient care technicians, certified nursing assistants and unit associates. Our staff works in close collaboration with our physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, pharmacists, and many other members of the healthcare team to ensure individualized, quality patient care.

Coordinates patient care planning with other disciplines utilizing the principles of the nursing process and critical thinking skills in order to maintain patient safety and well-being.

Shift Information: 3x12 Night

Pay Range: $36.00 to $52.00 (Salary will be commensurate with experience.)

Bonus Information: Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.

EXPERIENCE: One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics/PICU, PACU, and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS).
