Key Highlights: - Location: Central region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, in the vibrant community of Marquette. - Facilities: Access to cutting-edge imaging, surgery, and laboratory services. - Unit Profile: - Trauma Level: 2 - Specialty: Medical/Surgical - Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1 - EHR: Cerner - Shift Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM with rotating weekend hours. - Orientation: Bi-weekly, ensuring a smooth transition into your role. Qualifications: - Active Michigan RN license required. - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Medical/Surgical unit. - Required Certifications: ACLS. - Must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Unit Equipment & Support: - Advanced medical equipment including telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and dynamaps. - Supportive team environment that fosters professional growth. Dress Code: - Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Navy also acceptable). - Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with hand hygiene policies; adhere to guidelines regarding tattoos and excessive jewelry.
