POSITION OVERVIEW :


The Trade Compliance Analyst supports Regal Rexnord's U.S. import compliance program by conducting post-entry reviews, auditing import transactions, and maintaining documentation necessary to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and company policies. This role works closely with customs brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve import compliance issues, support tariff management initiatives, and maintain accurate records within Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM). The position plays a key role in monitoring entry accuracy, supporting audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement of import compliance processes. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Support import compliance audits and post-entry reviews to ensure adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, internal policies, and company procedures.
  
  

• Review import entry documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, customs entry summaries, and supporting records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  
  

• Assist in validating Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications, country of origin determinations, customs valuation, and applicability of trade programs and special tariffs, including Section 232, Section 301, Chapter 99, and AD/CVD requirements.
  
  

• Conduct transactional reviews within Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) and assist in identifying discrepancies, errors, and compliance risks.
  
  

• Track, document, and research audit findings and post-entry review exceptions, supporting corrective actions and issue resolution efforts.
  
  

• Monitor supplier responsiveness and maintain records related to Section 232 steel and aluminum certifications, including tracking documentation receipt, completeness, and timeliness.
  
  

• Escalate missing, inconsistent, or potentially inaccurate supplier information to senior members of the Trade Compliance team for investigation and resolution.
  
  

• Partner with customs brokers to obtain missing documentation, clarify entry information, and support data correction efforts.
  
  

Assist in preparing audit reports, metrics, dashboards, and management summaries that communicate compliance performance, trends, and corrective actions.

• Maintain import compliance records and audit documentation in accordance with CBP recordkeeping requirements and company retention policies.
  
  

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing import data quality, documentation controls, and compliance processes.
  
  

• Participate in special projects and compliance initiatives related to tariff programs, broker performance management, import audits, and trade data integrity.
  
  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  
  

• 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  
  

• Basic understanding of U.S. import regulations, customs entry processes, and tariff classification principles.
  
  

• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools.
  
  

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using Oracle GTM, SAP GTS, E2open, or similar Global Trade Management systems.
  
  

• Exposure to customs audits, post-entry compliance reviews, broker management, or import operations.
  
  

• Knowledge of Section 232, Section 301, AD/CVD, customs valuation, country of origin, and related trade compliance requirements.
  
  

• Professional trade compliance certifications (CCS, CCTS, LCB, or similar) are a plus.
