Interventional Radiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified/eligible Interventional Radiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology across various prominent facilities, including Lenox Hill Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital. This role involves performing a comprehensive range of interventional procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. The position offers an opportunity to work within New York State's largest healthcare provider, contributing to patient-centered care and benefiting from extensive resources.Practice InfoWork with state-of-the-art equipment.Comprehensive screening, diagnostic and interventional services in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.Close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year.Radiologists bring years of experience and subspecialized training to each scan they interpret.Backed by all the resources and clinical expertise of New York state's largest health system.ResponsibilitiesPerform Arterial and Venous Interventions: Angiography, Uterine fibroid embolization, Prostate Artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access.Perform Oncologic & Ablative Therapies: Thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization.Perform Complex Vascular & Visceral Procedures: TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures.Perform Spinal & Biopsy Interventions: Vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty and image-guided biopsies.CompensationNationally competitive salaries.Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.BenefitsComprehensive benefits package.Four weeks' vacation plus paid conference/CME time.Academic appointment in the Department of Radiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.Advanced education opportunities.College Tuition reimbursement for dependent children.RequirementsM.D. or D.O. degree.BE/BC in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology.Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship.Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York and Connecticut.
