Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license or certification recognized by the relevant state board
• Experience working in K-12 educational environments is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of speech and language development and intervention techniques
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to various classroom settings and diverse student needs
• Passion for helping children reach their full communication potential

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLP
• Assist with implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
• Collect and document data on student progress and communicate results to the clinical team
• Support classroom teachers with strategies and materials for language development
• Engage with students from various grade levels, tailoring therapy approaches as appropriate
• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and parent conferences as needed
