Design Architect

This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the \"best\" candidates. As a Design Architect, you’ll join our team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. You’ll design various types of buildings using mainly Revit and will plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval. May direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and Detailed Design Phase of a project - Design work to be reviewed and stamped by a Registered Architect - Periodic travel to construction sites should be anticipated Bring your creativity and attention to detail, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfill what drives you - so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow. Qualifications At least 5 years related experience Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture Demonstrate program experience in Revit, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite Ability to effectively coordinate with internal architectural and engineering team members Ability to work independently at times when given a set of instructions Ideally You’ll Also Have Registered Architect (RA) or in the process of taking exams Some Project Management experience Participation in professional organizations Master’s Degree in Architecture Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
