Instrumentation & Control Designer (Data Centers)

Instrument and Controls Designer We're looking for an Instrument and Controls Designer, who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Responsibilities Accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology, and panel design including panel layout and wiring diagrams. Manage demanding project schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate communication skills. Work on projects designing state‑of‑the‑art data centre, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities. Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems. Work within global multidisciplinary teams. Manage time efficiently across multiple projects. Qualifications Associate Degree in drafting or engineering technology. At least 2 years of BIM design experience. Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Experience designing data centre, semiconductor and other industrial facilities. Experience in instrumentation and controls. Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs). Familiarity with controls, electrical panels and cable tray. Familiarity with instrument placement. Salary The base salary range for this position is $58,200.00 to $80,000.00; however, will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
