Job Description
MICU Registered Nurse - 13 Week Contract

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 7 PM to 7 AM, with holiday and weekend rotation requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in need of intensive medical attention. The selected candidate will be expected to work in a collaborative environment alongside staff nurses and will also have floating responsibilities to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatments.
• Assist with various procedures and interventions, including those requiring advanced skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards of the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an MICU setting (2 years preferred).
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• First-time travelers will not be accepted.
