The LA Plant Manager position directs and manages all plant operations with overall accountability for safety, production, maintenance, quality, cost control, and all other production-related activities. The Plant Manager will also drive forward-thinking continuous improvement and optimization of all processes within the plant.What You'll Do:Lead safe, high-performing plant operations that consistently achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectivesOversee daily production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse operations to meet customer demand, service expectations, and business goalsDevelop leaders and build organizational capability through coaching, accountability, employee engagement, and talent developmentImprove productivity, quality, capacity, and efficiency through Lean principles, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvementOwn plant performance and financial results, identifying opportunities to improve service, eliminate waste, and reduce costsPartner with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to ensure operational readiness, successful product launches, and execution of key business prioritiesEnsure manufacturing assets, equipment, and facilities are capable of supporting current and future business needs through effective maintenance and capital planningWhat You'll Need to Have:Required:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field5–7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performanceProven success leading and developing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, inventory management, and workforce planningDemonstrated success managing performance through SQDC metricsExperience implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving methodologies to deliver measurable resultsStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor management, cost control, and capital planningAbility to leverage data and analytics to solve problems, improve performance, and support business decisionsStrong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organizationPreferred:Prior Plant Manager or senior operations leadership experienceExperience leading operations in a high-growth manufacturing and/or eCommerce environmentLean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement experienceExperience supporting automation, process optimization, and operational scaling initiativesCompensation:$165,000 - $175,000 per year base salaryAn annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of roleEmployer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K planAt Ruggable, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
