Quality Assurance Engineer

While working as a Quality Engineer for Adecco at our local Customer, you will earn $38 per hour and receive a weekly paycheck. Plainview, NY. Primary responsibilities include: Develop test procedures, quality plans, and inspection plans to ensure products meet organizational, customer, and aerospace industry standards, including AS9100 and AS9102 requirements. Conduct quality inspections and audits, analyze quality data, and perform root cause analysis and corrective actions to address defects, non-conformities, and process deviations. Coordinate and support First Article Inspections (FAI), supplier quality activities, purchased-part inspection plans, supplier first article reviews, and internal, customer, and third-party audits. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams on quality planning, continuous improvement, Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives, and new product development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline required. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of or the ability to learn root cause analysis and corrective action methods. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn production processes, quality inspection tools, and Quality Management Systems. Experience or training in quality assurance within aerospace or another regulated industry is preferred; knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO 9001, FAA, NADCAP, First Article Inspection Reports, or MRB processes is a plus. This position requires a mix of walking within a manufacturing environment and prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Candidates must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. This position is fully on-site.
